• Occasion Type (e.g., Birthday, Anniversary, Reminder)
• Occasion Date and Time
• Repeat Option (Yes/No)
• Image (optional – selected from device storage)

2. How We Use Your Information

All information is used only for the following purposes:

• To allow you to create and save personal occasions
• To display upcoming occasions sorted by date
• To show today’s occasions on the widget
• To associate optional images with occasions for personalization

3. Widgets and Background Access

WishDay provides a home screen widget that displays today’s occasions:

• It reads data from the local database only
• It may show images stored in internal app storage
• No data is transmitted or synced externally

4. Data Storage and Security

• Data is stored in a local SQLite database
• Images are saved in: /data/data/com.krayknot.wishday/files/occasion_images/
• No third-party access or sharing
• All data is sandboxed and private to the app

5. Permissions

WishDay may request the following permissions:

• Storage (READ/WRITE): To allow image selection from gallery
• Widget Access: To display data on home screen (automatic via Android widget APIs)

We do not access your contacts, location, or sensitive user data.

6. User Control and Deletion

• You can delete any occasion manually from within the app
• Associated images will be deleted from storage as well
• Uninstalling the app removes all data permanently

7. Children’s Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Any changes will be reflected within the app and this page. Please review it periodically.
