Collaborating with Buenos Aires-based agencies Room23 and Trans Company, the fast food giant unveils a sizzling campaign aimed at highlighting its enduring passion for burgers.

After seven decades of delivering flame-grilled goodness, Burger King Brazil asserts that the flame still burns bright with a fresh campaign showcasing increased heat.

Crafted by creative agencies Room 23 and Trans Company from Buenos Aires, the burger chain rolls out a series of print advertisements lensed by fashion photographer Guy Aroch.

The images, captured at Burger King drive-thrus and parking lots, depict mature couples locked in passionate embraces, reaffirming their love and ardor "70 years later."

"We aimed to create a campaign that goes beyond mere self-celebration typical of anniversary promotions, delivering something meaningful for the consumer," explains creative director Sebastian Wilhem. "The inherent flame-grilling of their burgers, Burger King's playful tone, and the underrepresentation of older individuals in advertising made this concept particularly compelling."

The advertising industry has long faced criticism for its age bias, both in front of and behind the camera. Consequently, the campaign receives praise for defying convention, opting for senior couples over younger ones.

"In an industry where older individuals are often marginalized, we sought to showcase their vitality and passion," remarks fellow creative director Maxi Anselmo. "By spotlighting seniors engaging in intimate moments, we challenge stereotypes and encourage viewers to embrace the idea that desire transcends age."

In addition to the print ads, social media posts and videos accompany the campaign. One video depicts an older couple sharing a tender moment over ice cream, while another features a passionate embrace in a car's front seat.
