Continuation for Other Countries:  The current application procedures for first, second, and third Work and Holiday (subclass 462) visas for applicants from other participating countries will remain unchanged. Registration Timeline: Registrations for the first Work and Holiday visa ballot for China, Vietnam, and India will be available later in 2024. This visa allows individuals aged 18 to 30 to spend up to a year in Australia, during which they can work short-term jobs to support their travel, study for up to four months, and travel in and out of Australia as often as they wish.

 Second Work and Holiday Visa:  Those who have previously held or currently hold a Work and Holiday visa can apply for a second Work and Holiday visa, which permits another working holiday in Australia, further extending their opportunity to explore and work in the country.

Impact of the Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (AI-ECTA): As part of the AI-ECTA, Australia will provide up to 1,000 Work and Holiday visas annually to eligible Indian citizens aged 18 to 30.
